PulseLink Digital Workplace Policy

1. Introduction

At PulseLink Digital Sdn Bhd, our goal is to foster a safe, inclusive, innovative, and performance-driven workplace that supports creativity, collaboration, and personal growth. This policy outlines expectations for conduct, attendance, communication, data security, and general workplace norms that guide how we work together as a team.


2. Code of Conduct

  • Treat all team members, clients, and partners with respect, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Discrimination, harassment, or any form of offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Practice transparency, accountability, and ethical decision-making in all tasks.

3. Working Hours & Flexibility

  • Core hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday to Friday), with flexible start and end times based on team needs.
  • Remote Work: PulseLink embraces a hybrid work model. Employees may work remotely based on project needs and manager approval.
  • All team members are expected to be responsive, punctual, and available during scheduled meetings or collaborative hours.

4. Leave Policy

  • Annual Leave: 18 days per year (pro-rated for new joiners).
  • Medical Leave: 14 days per year (with medical certificate).
  • Compassionate Leave, Emergency Leave, and Public Holidays are recognized in accordance with Malaysian labor laws.
  • Leave must be applied through the company’s HR platform and approved in advance.

5. Communication & Collaboration

  • Primary communication channels include Slack, Email, and Notion for documentation and task tracking.
  • Video conferencing tools such as Google Meet or Zoom should be used for meetings when working remotely.
  • Maintain clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism in all communication.

6. Data Security & Confidentiality

  • Employees must uphold the confidentiality of company and client data at all times.
  • Use only approved platforms for file storage and communication.
  • Report any data breaches or suspicious activity to the Tech/Compliance team immediately.

7. IT & Equipment Usage

  • Company-issued devices and software are to be used for work-related purposes only.
  • Employees are responsible for the care, security, and proper use of company assets.
  • Software installation and admin-level changes must be approved by IT support.

8. Performance & Development

  • PulseLink supports continuous learning. Employees are encouraged to pursue training, certifications, or courses aligned with their roles.
  • Performance reviews are conducted bi-annually to provide feedback and career development support.

9. Workplace Behavior

  • A zero-tolerance policy applies to workplace violence, bullying, or discriminatory behavior.
  • Alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons are strictly prohibited on company premises or during work hours.

10. Grievance & Feedback Mechanism

  • We are committed to an open-door culture. Concerns or grievances can be raised directly with team leads, HR, or through anonymous reporting tools.
  • Constructive feedback is encouraged and will be used to continuously improve workplace culture.

11. Termination & Exit Process

  • Termination (voluntary or otherwise) will follow fair process and Malaysian labor regulations.
  • Exiting employees are required to return all company assets and clear any outstanding responsibilities.

12. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or when significant changes in law or operations occur. Updates will be communicated to all team members promptly.
